The show grossed $2,107,505.00 for the week ending Sunday, January 20 at the Paramount Theatre. THE BOOK OF MORMON first broke the record the week of January 13, previously set by WICKED in 2009.
The First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, opens at the Des Moines Civic Center on Thursday, January 24. The production continues on to Minneapolis, St. Louis, Rochester, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston, Toronto, Cleveland and Washington, DC in the 2012-2013 season.
THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
