Having worked with Charlie Rosen a lot this year, we’ve become big fans of his. You might remember him as the bandleader of The Craze, the band from One Man, Two Guvnors. Perhaps you saw him as part of another onstage band in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Or maybe you just love the music in the Roundabout’s current revival of Cyrano de Bergerac.
If, like us, you’d like to hear more from Charlie Rosen, good news! He is doing a concert on Monday, November 19th at the Laurie Beechman Theater with a 17-piece orchestra. (You read that right: SEVENTEEN INSTRUMENTS!) And it gets better: Rosen will be joined by some great Broadway star friends: powerhouse belters Caissie Levy (of Ghost and Hair) and Alysha Umphress (On A Clear Day…, American Idiot), funny guys Andrew Kober (Hair) and Nick Blaemire (Godspell), Roundabout fave Santino Fontana (soon to be seen in Cinderella), and more! Don’t miss it!
