Between Shows: Benjamin Walker’s Find the Funny

You may know Benjamin Walker as an actor who plays U.S. Presidents on stage (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and screen (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter). And surely you know that he is set to return to Broadway as Brick in Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opposite Scarlett Johansson. But did you know that he moonlights as a stand-up comedian? Walker has been hosting a monthly comedy series at Joe’s Pub called “Find the Funny” and the next one is next week, so get your tickets now! Here’s what you can expect from Find the Funny: hilarious comics (both up-and-coming and established), short videos, a special musical guest and tons of laughs! You might even get to see some of Walker’s own musical skills on display, like in the video below in which he parodies Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody.” (Warning: some NSFW language.)

It’s only $10 and all the proceeds go to Broadway Cares for the holidays. Click here to buy tickets, then head to Joe’s Pub next Tuesday, December 4th at 9:30 pm!
