Our latest Video of the Week is the music video for P!nk’s new single “Try” off her sixth studio album, The Truth About Love. We chose this video because it features Broadway dancer Colt Prattes, whom you might remember as Prince Charming in this year’s Broadway Bares:

Another thing we love about the “Try” video is how simple it is. Most contemporary music videos rely on a lot of flashy editing, back-up dancers and costume changes, but this one (directed by Floria Sigismondi and choreographed by The Golden Boyz) is thrillingly low-concept: just P!nk and Colt, covered in rainbow paint, doing a passionate, rigorous dance in an abandoned house and then in the desert. The paint makes us wonder if P!nk and Colt have just finished the Color Run or perhaps are attending the Burning Man festival. Either way, it’s a moving, unique music video and we highly recommend you check it out below:
