Would You Take Out An Insurance Policy On Your Facebook Acccount?
MediaBistro.com/All Facebook – by DAVID COHEN

Most Facebook users have insurance of some sort, whether it be life, auto, or homeowners’ insurance. But what about Facebook insurance?

Sophos’ Naked Security blog reports that U.K. information privacy company Allow is offering coverage against reputation damage and ID theft, via a policy with Legal Insurance Management.

Policy holders pay £3.99 ($6.47) per month, and the policy pays up to £10,000 ($16,213.11) in professional fees and ancillary costs, including reverse search-engine optimization to make improper content hard to find, as well as up to £3,500 ($5,674.59) for reputation damage.
