This week’s Between Shows is Invitation to the Dance: Gene Kelly @ 100. To commemorate what would have been Gene Kelly’s one-hundredth birthday, the Film Society of Lincoln Center is screening a whopping twenty-three movies that feature the legendary song-and-dance man onscreen or behind the camera.

The festival began last Friday, July 13th and it continues until next Friday, July 26th. This weekend alone you can see classic musical Brigadoon (pictured above), cult favorite Xanadu, and Hello, Dolly! (which earned Kelly a Golden Globe nomination for Best Director in 1970).
