BONEAU/BRYAN-BROWN CONGRATULATES OUR 2012 LUCILLE LORTEL NOMINEES

Nominations for the 27th annual Lucille Lortel Awards, celebrating excellence in Off-Broadway theatre, were announced today.

BLOOD KNOT has been nominated for Outstanding Revival.

DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY has been nominated for Outstanding Costume Design (Catherine Zuber).

EDWARD ALBEE’S THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE has been nominated for Outstanding Revival and Outstanding Featured Actor (Peter Francis James).

LOOK BACK IN ANGER has been nominated for Outstanding Revival, Outstanding Director (Sam Gold), Outstanding Featured Actor (Adam Driver), and Outstanding Scenic Design (Andrew Lieberman).

ONCE has been nominated for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Director (John Tiffany), Outstanding Choreographer (Steven Hoggett), Outstanding Lead Actress (Cristin Milioti), Outstanding Scenic Design (Bob Crowley), Outstanding Lighting Design (Natasha Katz), and Outstanding Sound Design (Clive Goodwin). ONCE represents the most nominations at seven.

SONS OF THE PROPHET has been nominated for Outstanding Play and Outstanding Lead Actor (Santino Fontana).

THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY has been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress (Carey Mulligan), Outstanding Lighting Design (David Weiner), and Outstanding Sound Design (David Van Tieghem).

Not for profit company nominations:

ATLANTIC THEATER COMPANY has been honored with three nominations for THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY.

ROUNDABOUT THEATRE COMPANY has been honored with two nominations for SONS OF THE PROPHET, four nominations for LOOK BACK IN ANGER and one nomination for DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY.

SIGNATURE THEATRE COMPANY has been honored with two nominations for EDWARD ALBEE’S THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE and one nomination for BLOOD KNOT.
