JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical, opened to rave reviews in Cleveland at the State Theatre, where it opened Friday, June 24 (performances began Wednesday, June 22 and will play through Sunday, July 17, 2011. From Cleveland, JERSEY BOYS will play Milwaukee’s Marcus Center Wednesday, July 20 through Sunday, August 14.

Though the actors have performed the number night after night, in city after city — Steve Gouveia, who plays Massi with an infectious, just-between-you-and-me drollness, was in the original Broadway cast, and Joseph Leo Bwarie has been “Sherrrrrry bay-yay-bee-ing” for nearly four years as Valli — they manage to make the all-important scene feel organic.
