Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Tracy Aron, presents the new Broadway musical THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE, starring two time Tony® Award-winner Donna Murphy, directed by Leonard Foglia. THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE features book & lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart and music by Mike Stoller and Artie Butler.
Ms. Murphy has received critical acclaim for her performance as “Bubbie/Raisel” a Jewish grandmother struggling to share her legacy. She has been acknowledged by the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award organizations with a nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and the Drama League with a Distinguished Performance nomination.
