Guthrie Theater celebrates
Women’s History Month
with special series of performances, events and classes

(Minneapolis/St. Paul) During the month of March, the Guthrie will be buzzing with girl power, presenting three plays on three stages featuring three spectacular women. Guthrie veteran Sally Wingert leads the cast of Wendy Wasserstein’s Third, a production lauded by critics for its wit and insight. Jane Eyre returns for an encore engagement on the heels of its successful fall ’07 run, with breakout star Stacia Rice in the title role. Kate Eifrig explores the lives of nine women in Heather Raffo’s heartbreaking 9 Parts of Desire.

In addition to the three productions, the Guthrie will also play host to a March 10th In Conversation event, where Wingert, Rice and Eifrig will gather to gab about life, work and art from a women’s perspective. A weekly “Wine and Women Wednesdays” event invites audiences to enjoy a unique post-show happy hour in the Target Lounge.
